Global Instability and the Escalation of Regional Conflicts

Scripture identifies such conditions as characteristic of the present age leading up to Christ’s return. Jesus stated that there would be “wars and reports of wars” and that “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:6–7).
